What's included in the kit?
ASIO X, the controller with integrated screen, 3 batteries, a dual charger with adapted connectors, two spare sets of propellers, a toolkit with spare zip-ties, a T6 screwdriver, a high-visibility jacket and a QR code giving access to all documentation and the Flybotix portal.
Can ASIO X stabilize itself in GPS denied environments
Yes, with its integrated IMU, radar, VIO cameras and optical sensors mounted all around, it can determine its position and movement in a confined space environment – it uses that data instead of GPS for its own stabilization.
Can ASIO X really fly up to 20 minutes
Yes, but it is applicable under ideal conditions. With full lights enabled, flight time will be reduced by 2 minutes. Other conditions, like wind, can further reduce the flight time – but in general conditions, 20 minutes can be realistically achieved.
Does ASIO X have LiDAR?
Yes. ASIO X is equipped with a forward-facing, orientable, LiDAR with an opening of 106° horizontally and 86° vertically. The gimbal on which the LiDAR is mounted can be tilted 90° up and down, giving full coverage in the vertical plane. If the entire space needs to be covered, the pilot will have to fly through the environment.
What’s been improved in the ASIO X Solution?
On the hardware side, the ASIO X has been equipped with an orientable LiDAR, VIO cameras and radar have been added for enhanced stabilization even in very low visibility environments, the lighting has been increased from 8K lumen to 40K lumen, a gas sensor has been mounted on the ASIO X and the cage has been made 3 times as robust from the previous cage.
On the software side, mapping accuracy has been increased and AI and cloud features have been included, making it an extremely powerful tool for post-processing.
