The aircraft carries an SD card on which all flight data is recorded. Post-flight, the SD card is taken out of the ASIO X and inserted in a computer. Another SD card (FAT32 format) can be used on the ASIO X while downloading to the computer to not impede time in the air.

A photogrammetry mode can be activated on the controller. The frequency of image capture can be adjusted to generate sufficient overlap. Alternatively, images can be extracted from the 4k video file, typically one every 1-2 seconds, for photogrammetry.

The precision of 3D object measurement is 1%. For point to point measurement, the precision varies between 2 and 14% as the drone positioning, which is currently used to position Lidar scans in the map, has a precision between 1% to 7% depending on the environment.

YES, you only need to connect to internet once per month using ASIO-Explore. If you plan an inspection underground where your PC has no connectivity, it is safe to connect the day before and simply launch ASIO-Explore.
