Our Story
At the core of our story lies a deep-seated belief in the power of innovation. In 2019, the drone industry was thriving, with a predominant focus on outdoor applications where drones fly high and far from all obstacles. At the same time, our founders learned that two workers die every week in accidents in confined spaces in the US alone. This realization of drones’ untapped potential to reduce human risk in confined spaces inspired the start of Flybotix.
Our founders, Samir Bouabdallah and Alexandre Cherpillod recognised the limitations posed by short flight times and knew there was a solution. Through months of collaboration they along with the team, crafted an initial prototype.
Flybotix has now achieved the #1 ranking in robotics nationwide (2023), with a particular focus on delivering top-tier products, especially in the field of inspection and digization of confined spaces in various industries like energy production and water infrastructure. Our latest product, ASIOX, was launched in 2024, marking a significant achievement for the market.
